Smoky and tarry oak aroma, sour cherry. Juicy attack, mellow but not soft-grained tannins, it builds an ever greater drive as the palate progresses, plus vivid fresh palate fruit, a delicately mineral hue and youthfully compact construction, which will open up with great spiciness with two to three years of bottle ageing.
