The rosé wine Château Aspras Tomares Ballus, vintage 2020 from the winery Domaine des Aspras has been rated in 2022 by Anne Krebiehl MW with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Grenache, Cinsault from the region Cotes de Provence in France.
A subtle nose suggests ripeness, not only of berry but of exquisite ripe stone fruit. The palate is rounded, and has a rich core of luscious ripe fruit, and a hint of apricot skin, lending texture and chewiness. The finish is dry and long and comes with some alcoholic heat and much freshness.
