The red wine Cahors AOC Lou Prince, vintage 2008 from the winery Domaine du Prince has been rated in 2011 with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the region South West France in France.
Deep dark ruby garnet, opaque core, violet reflections, delicate rim brightening. The nose is intensely characterized by new wood, underlaid with black berry fruit, a hint of liquorice, dried banana. Full-bodied, powerful tannins that are still quite present, delicate caramel on the finish, sweet black berries in the aftertaste, modern style, good length, has development potential.
