Strong ruby, purple reflections, broad and bright rim. Delicate toasty aromas, black cherries, ripe plums, candied orange zest and some nougat. Juicy, pronounced fruit texture, fine tannins, ripe dark berry confit, some vanilla and mocha on the finish, mineral and clingy, a spicy food wine.
