Tasting from 18.04.2014

Over 100-year-old vines of an old Sauvignon variety. Unconventional aroma in the style of a vin naturel: cider and rhubarb. On the palate, it is gentle and yet incredibly exciting and fresh, with a delicate, increasing acidity, almost delicate despite 14 per cent alcohol by volume. Everything culminates on the finish: nerve, substance, minerality. And fruit: yellow-fleshed peach, Cox orange apple and Williams pear, red gooseberry. A wine that has it all. Immense length.
