Tasting from 05.09.2022: Anne Krebiehl MW

An initial smoky creaminess opens into the scent of really ripe, dark red cherries. A floral tone hovers, too, as does a hint of orange peel. On the palate, however, it is not fruit but freshness that hits first and stays put, putting everything else into clear focus: the evident concentration, the fine, supple and dense tannin structure, and the beautifully delineated cherry fruit. Totally focused and elegant despite its undoubted power. Beautiful.
