Strong ruby, purple reflections, broad ochre brightening on the rim. Candied violets, blueberries, black cherries, seductive bouquet. Juicy and sweet, ripe plums, some figs, firm, ripe tannins, nougat on the finish, mineral and long, great ageing potential, a fine spicy food wine. Overall, a great, complex wine.
