Spicy with ripe dark fruit on the nose, blackcurrant, cherry, blackberry, also plum, dried herbs, pepper, clove. Powerfully built on the palate with good substance, generous, lots of savouriness, powerful, ripe tannins, vivid, balancing acidity. Goes well with strong dishes.
