The red wine Marsannay Longeroies, vintage 2016 from the winery Domaine Sylvain Pataille has been rated in 2020 by Peter Moser, Ulrich Sautter, Benjamin Herzog und Dominik Vombach with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Noir from the region Bourgogne in France.
Herbal and peppery on the nose, almost camphor-like. Minty too but there's also sour cherry and discreet coconutty oaky notes. In the mouth, the fruit is full and pronounced, driven with powerful fine tannin; juicy and ripe, homogeneous and persistent supporting acidity, very well done and beginning to drink really well.
