The red wine Millepassi Bolgheri Superiore DOC, vintage 2016 from the winery Donna Olimpia 1898 has been rated in 2019 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, Merlot from the region Bolgheri in Italy.
Powerful ruby red with a light garnet edge. Fleshy, dark berries on the nose, with appealing notes of blackberry and cassis. On the palate the fine-grained tannins give plenty of drive. There are some discreetly resinous notes on the aftertaste.
