Rich deep dark ruby colour, with purple shimmer. Very dense, full-bodied nose, balsamic notes of blackberry and dark cherry, some tobacco, an inviting bouquet. Shows a lot of vivid and ripe fruit on the palate, precise, opens up with gripping fine-grained tannins, densely woven, and a very long finish.
