Deep ruby with purple reflections and a subtle ochre rim. Fine floral nuances of violets and hibiscus, red fruits of the forest confit, currants, an attractive herbal touch with some rosemary and bergamot. Opens up a whole peacock's tail of fragrances with air. Juicy, elegant, with sweet red cherry and some plum, it has fine acidity, ripe, supporting tannins and precise minerality. With terrific length and delicacy, it is absolutely in the Grand Cru range. Shows the enormous quality of Russian River at a still very acceptable price.
