Clear, intense ruby colour with a slight garnet hue. Appealing and intense nose of sultanas, prune and dried cherry, fine chocolate components. Fine interplay between residual sweetness, fruit and tannin on the palate, fills out the palate nicely in the first part, but then drops off a little, not commonplace due to the residual sweetness, but definitely exciting.
