Powerful nose, wood savouriness, pipe tobacco, lots of ripe red and dark fruit, blackberry, black cherry and chocolate. Concentrated on the palate with ripe tannins, lively acidity, holds together well, good balance, somewhat rustic expression, goes well with grilled meat.
