Tasting Notes

95
Tasting from 20.04.2012

Deep dark, opaque ruby-garnet in colour, with purple reflections. An extremely multi-layered bouquet shows fine roasted aromas, dark berry fruit, a hint of liquorice and some ethereal nuances such as a hint of tar, mocha and precious wood - very multi-faceted and attractive. Powerful and very complex on the palate with a core of juicy black berry fruit an d very well-integrated tannins that give the wine great length. The fine acidity structure provides corresponding liveliness. It's pronounced in fruit on finish, with guaranteed ageing potential.
