The red wine Coto de Imaz Reserva Rioja DOCa, vintage 2012 from the winery El Coto de Rioja has been rated in 2017 by Ulrich Sautter with 87 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Tempranillo from the region La Rioja in Spain.
Vanilla and American oak, sweet cherry, almond paste, quite compact on the palate, mild, mealy tannin, very soft base, late emerging acidity, not very much ageing character, completely designed for charm and plump proportions, appears somewhat dull on top.
