The red wine Barolo DOCG, vintage 2015 from the winery Elio Altare has been rated in 2019 by Othmar Kierm, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Piedmont in Italy.
Tasting Notes
Classic ruby core. Primary aromas of butter pastries, some nougat, ripe cherries and leather. A very young palate, shows great drive and clarity, juicy ripe fruit and polished tannins. One to keep hold of for a few years.
