The red wine The Sir, vintage 2012 from the winery Emotion Wine has been rated in 2016 by Peter Moser with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Blaufränkisch, Zweigelt, Merlot from the region Central Burgenland in Austria.
Dark ruby garnet, violet reflections, delicate edge brightening. Dark berry fruit with subtle spicy notes, blackberries, cassis, some herbs and vanilla. Medium complexity, black cherries, fresh structure, integrated tannins, mineral touch on the finish, already accessible, fine nougat note in the aftertaste.
