Rich ruby purple; clear and intense nose, subtle roasted notes, slightly earthy, then lots of dark cherry fruit, inviting; also shows a lot of present fruit on the palate, sweet melting, spreads out powerfully, fine-grained tannin with a sweet core, lingers for a long time.
