The red wine Lamarein vino rosso da uve stramature, vintage 2019 from the winery Erbhof Unterganzner has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Lagrein from the region Alto Adige in Italy.
Bright ruby red. Fragrant nose of ripe cherries, ripe raspberries, fine scent of mint, freshly baked brown bread, nut butter, dried figs, reverberating oak savouriness. On the palate a beautiful texture and fine creamy tannin, spreads radiantly across the tongue, in the middle range still somewhat restrained, in the finish hearty, with drive. Certain ageing potential.
