Initially reductive in character, but this evaporates fairly quickly and gives way to ripe, sweet and predominantly very dark fruit. Light but never intrusive roasted notes. The palate continues in the same cheerful vein: juicy and straightforward, accessible and extract-sweet.

Dark ruby garnet, violet reflections, delicate edge brightening. Smoky herbal spice, fine touch of precious wood, black cherries, some nougat, attractive bouquet. Juicy, sweet extract, round tannins, fine blackberry note on the finish, well developed.
