The orange wine Savagnin Gewürztraminer trocken, vintage 2015 from the winery Espenhof – Nico Espenschied has been rated in 2018 by Ulrich Sautter with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Gewürztraminer from the region Rhine Hesse in Germany.
Dark golden yellow with reddish reflections. Caramelised aroma, almost mature in appearance, creamy attack, almost viscous, and then a very dry and drying tannin load, almost a selection style - it remains to be seen whether the soft body will combine with the phenolics, but the fruit already seems developed.
