The red wine Cuculaia Syrah Cortona DOC, vintage 2015 from the winery Fabrizio Dionisio has been rated in 2019 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Syrah from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Intense, dark ruby red with an impenetrable core. Lots of malt aromas on the nose, coffee grounds, shoe polish, some blackberry. Just as malty on the palate, grippy with gripping tannins, then lots of plum fruit, good length, still seems a little harsh and should mature.
