The white wine Ried Wielitschberg Gewürztraminer Alte Reben, vintage 2021 from the winery Familienweingut Tement has been rated in 2025 by Ulrich Sautter with 96 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Gewürztraminer from the region Southern Styria in Austria.
The nose is reflective more of terroir than the variety: flint and rose water. The palate has power, but also finesse: a silky phenolic structure, delicate, almost lucid acidity and a very stylish sweetness that rounds out the structure. No intrusive spice, but very clear fruit. Long. With Münster cheese.
