The red wine Poggio Valente Toscana Rosso IGT, vintage 2022 from the winery Fattoria Le Pupille has been rated in 2025 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Grosseto in Italy.
A ruby red colour with garnet nuances. An elegant bouquet with notes of fully ripe cherries, some olive paste and forest floor, as well as subtle roasted notes. Silky on the palate, with a mouth-watering acidity and finely woven tannins, lingers well.
