The red wine Colonia Chianti Classico Gran Selezione DOCG, vintage 2015 from the winery Fèlsina has been rated in 2019 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 96 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Bright, medium-dense ruby garnet. Initially shows slightly earthy notes, then lots of ripe cherry and blackberry, some cinnamon, very exciting. Full and dense, shows a lot of rich, pithy tannin, forming the powerful backbone of the wine, tobacco on the long finish, salty.
