Bright, rich ruby with a slightly brightening rim. Very finely drawn nose, initially delicate resinous components, then lots of dark berry fruit, blueberry and mulberry, some smoke in the background. Round and mouth-filling on the palate, again lots of dark berry fruit, fine, slightly grippy tannins, good length.
