The red wine Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, vintage 2020 from the winery Franco Pacenti has been rated in 2025 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Clear, intense ruby with a fine garnet shimmer. Intense and clear presence on the nose, opens with notes of cranberry, cherry and pomegranate, some blood orange. Juicy on the attack, good presence up front, then becomes somewhat broad-meshed, crisp fruit on the finish, lots of cherry.
