Ripe dark berry fruit on the nose, with sour cherry and cranberries, hints of freshly cut wood, liquorice, mocha and cocoa. There's an elegant attack on the palate with echoes of wild berries and some more ethereal notes up front before the fresh acidity and fine-grained tannins take hold. Long finish, majoring on plum, pepper and caramel.
