The white wine Sauvignon Venezia Giulia IGT, vintage 2022 from the winery Fruscalzo has been rated in 2024 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sauvignon Blanc from the region Friuli-Venezia Giulia in Italy.
Bright straw yellow colour with a shiny core. Very perfumed and fragrant nose, white rose petal, muscaty, rosemary and candied citrus fruit. Full-bodied and rich on the palate, with yellow fruit aromas and an oily texture, unfortunately a little heady on the finish.
More about the tastingIntense straw yellow with greenish reflections. Black currant and elderflower on the nose with some mint in the background. The palate has some more citrus, pleasant fruit expression, vibrant acidity, medium-long finish.
