The red wine Riserva Barolo DOCG, vintage 2006 from the winery Gagliasso has been rated in 2012 with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Barolo in Italy.
Bright ruby with garnet shimmer. Emphasized ripe fruit notes on the nose, dried plums and preserved cherries, leather in the background. Juicy on the palate, lots of raspberry fruit, builds nicely, dense tannins, then slightly malty notes on the finish, slightly drying.
