The red wine Simpotica Negroamaro Rosso Salento IGT, vintage 2016 from the winery Garofano has been rated in 2020 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Negroamaro, Montepulciano from the region Puglia in Italy.
Bright ruby. Wonderful, inviting nose of rose hip and wild strawberry, underpinned by a delicate cedar note, elegant. On the palate; polished and fine, opens with great fruit texture, hearty and red berry fruit, good length with a salty finish.
