The white wine La Selezione Gioacchino Garofoli Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi Classico Superiore DOC, vintage 2016 from the winery Garofoli has been rated in 2023 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Verdicchio Bianco from the region Marche in Italy.
Rich straw yellow with golden hues. At the beginning it's a little closed in the nose, with only a lot of wet stone on show. With air comes chamomile flower and some lemon. On the palate there's more fruit immediately available, majoring on refreshing lime. Delicate texture and a dancing acidity lead to a mouthwatering finish.
