The red wine Giblin Barolo Riserva DOCG, vintage 2011 from the winery Gemma has been rated in 2019 by Othmar Kierm, Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Piedmont in Italy.
Dark, shining ruby. In the nose, delicate wood savouriness, profound notes of truffle, varnish, ripe forest berries and delicate leather. Smooth and gentle on the palate, tightly woven, compact ripe fruit with a fine texture. A quiet, assured wine with great potential.
