The nose is initially characterized by a cool spiciness. With a little time in the glass, notes of redcurrant and dark fruits of the forest, in addition to some liquorice. The palate is powerful, with fresh acidity, dark berry fruit, slightly noticeable tannins and a balsamic, spicy finish.
