The red wine Jo Negroamaro Salento IGT, vintage 2015 from the winery Gianfranco Fino Viticoltore has been rated in 2017 by Othmar Kiem with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Negroamaro from the region Puglia in Italy.
Clear intense ruby, dense rim. Intense nose with lots of raspberry fruit, some rose petals, subtle lemon notes in the background, coriander seeds. On the palate full and gripping, huge, dense tannin, builds up like a mountain, dominates the wine, in the finish then again beautiful juicy fruit, not a soloist, needs accompaniment. .
