The red wine Bric Valdiana Roero DOC, vintage 2014 from the winery Giovanni Almondo has been rated in 2017 by Ulrich Sautter with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Piedmont in Italy.
Tasting Notes
Closed aroma, some herbal spice, heart cherry, also slightly floral undertones, sweet almond. Sandy palate, juicy, fine acidity, very subtle structure with a clear mineral tinge, best left to mature for another five to ten years, or decant for four hours and drink with a Brasato al Barolo.
