The red wine Ester Canale Rosso Barolo DOCG Vignarionda, vintage 2021 from the winery Giovanni Rosso has been rated in 2025 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 98 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Piedmont in Italy.
Intense, bright ruby colour, fine shimmer. Shows great playfulness on the nose, of rose, plum and wild raspberry, plus fresh leather and dried porcini mushrooms. Fine fruit on the palate too, plum and cranberry, opens with grippy, savoury tannins in many layers, salty and with firm drive on the finish.
