The red wine Primitivo DOC Centurio, vintage 2013 from the winery Globalwine AG has been rated in 2019 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 88 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Primitivo from the region Puglia in Italy.
Intense, almost black ruby red with a glittering core. Very woody nose from new barrels, light savoury notes and dark fruit. Powerful and gripping on the palate, builds slowly and significantly. Hesitant fruit, then harsh and drying on the finish due to the excessive use of wood.
