Tasting from 20.02.2026: Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler

Medium-dense, sparkling ruby with a fine garnet shimmer. Extremely fragrant nose, initially of violets and roses, then crisp cherry, some pomegranate. Characterized by grippy tannins on the palate, firm and gripping, still quite closed, still needs additional ageing, but has the best beginnings.
