The red wine Coste a Preola Nero d'Avola Sicilia DOC, vintage 2018 from the winery Tenuta Gorghi Tondi has been rated in 2019 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nero d’Avola from the region Sicily in Italy.
It has a rich and elegant bright ruby red colour. There are inviting and fragrant aromas of lush ripe raspberry and cherry, and a light savouriness note, it is a rich bouquet. On the palate it quickly opens with vivid cherry and strawberry flavours, it is very fruity, and it builds nicely, with finely woven tannins. It provides great drinking pleasure.
