Dark, bright ruby purple with a slightly brightening rim. Spicy and fruity on the nose, with notes of liquorice, tobacco leaf, preserved plums and blackberries as well as black elderberries. Fresh, juicy and with grippy tannins on the palate, ending with a finish of fruit and garden herbs.
