Tasting Notes
Black cherry and blackberry are evident in the fruity, savoury and powerful aroma, with a hint of cigar box. Shows good balance in the mouth with ripe, vivid acidity, medium-bodied extract, again clear notes of dark fruit, elegant.
More about the tastingOn the nose, a slightly nutty and leathery woody note mingles with savoury, savoury fruit. Mint. Also ripe black cherry. The palate starts oily, then builds up firm drive from fine-grained tannins, has a distinct mineral colour, a good acid backbone and finishes with sweet fruit on the finish. Rich and fruity, excellent length.
