It has a deep carmine colour, with purple reflections, and a broad bright rim. There are aroma nuances of black berry, some marzipan, lovely fine oak spiciness, and a hint of slate. It is juicy, with a good complexity, sweet dark cherry, fine acidity, a salty minerality, and good length. It is a full-bodied food wine. .
