The red wine Grande Reserva DOC, vintage 2017 from the winery Dona Maria - Julio Bastos has been rated in 2023 by Benjamin Herzog und Dominik Vombach with 93 Falstaff points.
Deep bouquet with notes of liquorice, milk chocolate, dried dark wild berries and some rum steeped notes. Balanced and dense on the palate with ripe acidity and polished tannins. Aroma of wild berries, chocolate and spicy nuances. Plum on the long finish.
