The red wine Cerasuolo di Vittoria DOCG, vintage 2017 from the winery Gulfi has been rated in 2019 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Nero d’Avola, Frappato from the region Sicily in Italy.
It has a rich and dark luminous ruby red colour. On the nose it is rich and compact, with aromas of ripe strawberry, wild berry, and black currants. On the palate it is juicy and smooth, opening with cherry fruit nuances. It is slightly salty, and it unfolds with a nice creaminess, leading to a punchy and vivid finish.
