The red wine »Brota« Mencia, vintage 2023 from the winery Hammeken Cellars has been rated in 2024 by Ulrich Sautter with 92 Falstaff points.
Fresh red fruit on the nose, red cherries, raspberries, red currants, roasted nuts and almonds, dried herbs, milk chocolate. Very delicate on the palate, lots of finesse, fresh, red fruit, a refined acidity in balance with a supple base, velvety tannins, a pleasure to drink slightly chilled on a warm summer day, also good with food year round.
