Tasting from 17.02.2022: Ulrich Sautter

A savoury, quite complex Pinot nose: some wood, but also red berries, mint, thyme and tomato herb. A mineral, slightly flinty aroma also shows. In the mouth there's some power thanks to a good dose of fine-grained tannins and lively, ripe acidity. An intense juiciness overlays the creamy base and is supported by salty and tactile minerality. Very good length and certain ageing potential.
