Tasting Notes
It has a light carmine colour, and a broad ochre rim. There is an almost Burgundian bouquet, with pickled red cherry, a hint of fresh fig, and candied orange zest, it is an inviting bouquet. It is juicy, with lovely sweet fruit, good freshness, velvety tannins, elegance, delicate fresh plum fruit, and a hint of chocolate on the finish. It is now 26 years old, and it still has incredible freshness and intensity.
