Deep ruby garnet colour with purple reflections, subtle ochre rim. A hint of soy sauce and tapenade, candied purples and liquorice, very savoury, some dark nougat and suede. Juicy, sweet fruits, some smoked bacon, ripe, round tannins, somehow rustic and elegant at the same time, shows length, good ageing potential, savoury and fruity finish.
